Job Functions
Prepare Financial Statements and related analysis
Assist with filings for State and National government bodies
Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, making appropriate adjustments on a timely basis
Prepare supporting schedules and explanations for external auditors
Assist with annual budget preparation, forecast adjustments and annual financial audit
Work with current employees to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
General customer service support
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or commensurate experience required
5+ years of experience in an accounting role
Experience with telecommunications and broadband services preferred
Strong working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is essential
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Professionalism
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize work
Presents a positive and professional image
Excellent attention to detail
Communicate with customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner
